Why book direct with Candela?
Booking on candela.mx puts you in touch with our team from the start. Live rates and availability come from our reservation system, and our team welcomes you in person.
How do I get an exact price?
Search your dates and group size, then choose a residence. The next step shows your quote with nightly rates, fees and taxes. If our live system is unavailable, you will see an estimated price and our team confirms the final quote by email.
Is my reservation confirmed right away?
When you send a request to book, our team confirms availability and your final price by email, with the next steps to complete your reservation. Your stay is confirmed once you receive our confirmation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are shown at checkout and confirmed in your booking. See Policies.
Can I book all three residences for one group?
Yes. Candela Estate is the private wellness estate: Villa 1, Villa 3 and Villa 7 for one group, 13 bedrooms, sleeps 40 to 44, with private use of Zoco included. From USD 720 per night.
Your stay
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
What is included?
Every residence is booked whole, with private pool and jacuzzi, a full kitchen, air conditioning and wifi. Daily housekeeping, concierge and security are included.
Can we add extra beds?
Villa 1 can add up to two extra beds on direct bookings for USD 25 per bed, per night. Villa 7 has no extra-bed charges. The Estate sleeps 40, up to 44 with extra beds.
Are spa treatments and personal trainers available?
Yes. Spa treatments are available à la carte in your villa, and personal trainers come to the villa. The yoga shala also works as a training space.
Location
Where is Candela?
In La Veleta, Tulum's leafy residential area in Quintana Roo, Mexico. About 4 minutes by car to Tulum town and 12 minutes to the beach.
How does the private beach club work?
Candela's private beach club is about 20 minutes away by car and reserved for Candela guests. An operating fee applies, and transport is arranged by guests.
Are Villa 1 and Villa 7 next to each other?
They are independent residences about three minutes apart on foot.
Wellness and spaces
What is the yoga shala?
A traditional Mayan palapa, open on all sides to the jungle, for yoga classes, gatherings and training. It is open to every guest.
What is Zoco?
Candela's collective space for yoga, meditation, workshops and group meals. It can be rented privately (2 hours USD 200, 4 hours USD 350, full day USD 600) and private use is included with Candela Estate.
House rules
Are parties or events allowed?
Parties and events are not allowed in individual villas. Events are possible only with a full Candela Estate buyout, with prior approval and a separate quote.
What are the quiet hours?
From 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Are children and pets welcome?
Children are welcome. Pets are not allowed.
Can we smoke?
Smoking is not allowed indoors.
